According to the effluent standards in industry, sewage systems and urban sewage treatment facilities of the Environment Protection Agency, the oil concentration in the effluent may not exceed more than 10ppm. However, it is difficult for current urban sewage treatment facilities to reach this standard. In effluents that failed to reach this standard, fats and grease will often obstruct the sewage pipelines and sewers, increasing the organic loading of the downstream sewage treatment plants. Additionally, the use of traditional chemical treatment will result in accumulation of waste sludge and increase costs of cleaning and transportation. This product replaces chemical absorbent with naturally occurring microbes and is capable of degrading 1000ppm of animal and plant fats within 24 hours, eliminating the issue of sludge accumulation. |
