It is important to keep an accurate recording of the daily observations on changes in water colors for traditional outdoor aquaculture. One of the most troublesome issues is the rapid deaths of algae over a short period. The water suddenly turns clear, and after a chain of adverse reactions, such as decreasing oxygen dissolution, explosive growths of algae degrading bacteria and organic matters. The water quality deteriorates rapidly and the organisms may suffer from stress-induced diseases. The seriousness of mass algae deaths, aside from the previously mentioned rapid reactions. The situation is worse when it coincides with abnormal weathers such as heavy rain. Our product improves the initial rapid growths of algae in the pools and stimulates growths of green algae during breeding periods, which help to maintain a stabilized water color. |
